ABC Analysis

ABC analysis is a method for classifying elements (e.g. products, customers, tasks) according to their importance. It divides elements into three categories: A (very important), B (important) and C (less important). This method helps to set priorities and use resources more efficiently.

Effort: small Difficulty: medium Effectiveness: long

The preparation of the data is carried out by one person. However, the whole team may be needed to compile the data and derive actions if necessary. The ABC analysis is useful for prioritising tasks or resources.

💡 Tip from practice: Use visualization tools such as diagrams to display the results of the ABC analysis and make them easier to interpret. -Experiment with different threshold values to find the optimal categorization.
